First Day

I survived my first day of work.  Well, I guess it wasn’t really work, it was orientation.  But of course, nothing can be simple for me.  My “buddy” didn’t show up to meet me…  And she was the one who had my pertinent information…  like where I was working tomorrow and when I should show up!

So I told the coordinator what happened, and that I had no idea what to do for tomorrow.  He said, “Well you’d better make some phone calls… like, now.”

Why should I be the one making phone calls?  Shouldn’t someone there know where I’m supposed to be working?!?

So I made the phone calls, and by the end of the day I had some idea what I am supposed to do tomorrow. 

I sure hope this isn’t how it’s going to go tomorrow…
